Howdy!

It’s been a while! How are you peeps? I am still in vacation and enjoying the sun and the beach…I will share photos when I get back in a couple of weeks or so..haven’t taken any new opps for 10 days due to this vacation but I am loving the things going on and although I am missing the blogging and scrapping thing..it feels so wonderful to get away sometimes…Seeing old friends, relatives and specially my siblings! Totally feels great:)

Getting ready!

I’ll be in my way to the airport in a couple of hours! Going away for a couple of months to unwind and refresh:)  I might not be able to update everyday but will try to update since I am still hoping to write with opps! I didn’t bring anything scrappy! First time in a vacation that I will be leaving my laptop and my EHD! Scrapping can wait after all

What is a Mother?

{Got this from a friend. For you, Mom! Advance Happy Mother’s Day! This story makes me cry. I just love it that thought you have to read it for yourself! Please pass this to all the Mothers and to you,too. For safe keeping:) Have a great day!}

When the good Lord was creating mothers, he was into his sixth day of overtime when the angel appeared and said, “You are doing a lot of fiddling around on this one.”

And the Lord said, “Have you read the specs on this order ?”

“She has to be completely washable, not plastic, have moveable parts, all replaceable, run on black coffee and leftovers, have a lap that disappears when she stands up, a kiss that can cure anything from a broken leg to a disappointed love affair, and six pairs of hands.”

The angel shook her head slowly and said, “Six pairs of hands, no way !”

“It’s not the hands that cause the problems, said the Lord. It is the three pairs of eyes that mothers have to have.”

“That’s the standard model,” the angel asked?

The Lord nodded. “One pair that sees through closed doors, when she asks, “What are you kids doing in there, ” when she already knows. Another in the back of her head that sees what she shouldn’t but what she has to know, and of course the ones here in the front so that she can look at a child when he goofs and says, “I understand and I love you,” without so much as uttering a word.

“Lord,” said the angel, tugging his sleeve gently, “Come to bed ..”

“I can’t,” said the Lord. “I am so close to creating something so close to myself. Already, I have one who heals herself when she is sick, can feed a family of six on one pound of hamburger and can get a nine year old to stand under a shower.”

The angel circled the model of a mother. “It’s too soft,” she sighed.

“But tough,” said the Lord excitedly. “You cannot imagine what this mother can do or endure !”

“Can it think ?”

“Not only can she think, but it can reason and compromise,” said the Creator.

Finally the angel bent over and ran her fingers across the cheek. “There’s a leak,” she pronounced. “I told you that you were trying to put too much into this model.”

“It’s not a leak,” said the Lord. “It is a tear.”

“What’s it for ?”

“It’s for joy, sadness, disappointment, pain, loneliness, and pride.”

“You are a genius,” said the angel.

The Lord looked somber. “I didn’t put it there,” he said.

Toot and offer a prayer!

Well, I already tooted about this one a few months ago. But seeing it in print is another story,right?

My little boy playing with bubbles layout made it to a whole page! Its big compare to the first one! This June/July Issue is stunning than the first one:) Congrats to the other ladies! So many familiar faces!

One more thing, posted this in my other blog.

{Prayers Please for DebF}I just heard a news that, DebF, one of a scrapper and designer over in PickleBerryPop lost her husband during an accident on their farm. I don’t know her that well but it breaks my heart to know the accident..I am a wife also and I could never imagine how she is feeling now..:( Please offer a prayer for her and her 7 children who are left behind. And if you can also help her in a little bit, you can purchase a kit from her shop in PickleBerryPop.

Hmmm…there are a bunch of places..But I’m a shopping junkie,so yeah..the shopping district,GINZA! And Electronic Town,Akhihabara!
